Meaning

The dark purple stripe represents butch and gender nonconforming lesbians, the violet stripe represents violets (commonly associated with women who love women, the medium purple stripe represents soul, the pale purple stripe represents trans and nonbinary lesbians, the light red stripe represents love, the red stripe represents passion, and the burgundy stripe represents femm and lipstick lesbians.
